Royaume-Uni Monthly GDP MoM

The British economy stalled in June from May 2024, following a 0.4% growth in the previous period, and matching market forecasts. Services output fell by 0.1%, after five consecutive monthly increases, with the largest negative contributions coming from retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles (-1.2%) and human health activities (-1.5%) while professional, scientific and technical activities were up 0.1%. Meanwhile, industrial production rose 0.8%, led by manufacturing (1.1%), mostly f basic metals and metal products (2.6%); electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (1.6%) and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation (0.2%) while the mining sector shrank 0.4%. Output also grew 0.5% in the construction sector. Considering the three months to June, the GDP in the UK rose 0.6%.
