Royaume-Uni Construction Orders

UK construction orders edged 0.1% lower year-on-year in Q4 2024, a sharp easing from the revised 9.7% decline in the previous quarter. The fall in new housing orders broadly moderated (-10.9% vs. -36.5% in Q3), with private housing orders declining at a much slower pace (-4.4% vs. -35.4%), while the decrease in public housing saw little change (-43.5% vs. -43.4%). Meanwhile, orders for all other work grew 4.7%, accelerating from 2.4% in Q3. On a quarterly basis, construction orders fell 2.4%, easing from a revised 23.7% drop in Q3.
