Tunisie Taux d'inflation

The annual inflation rate in Tunisia stood at 6.7% in September 2024, holding steady for the second straight month while remaining at its lowest level since January 2022. Housing inflation was stable (at 4.2%) amid moderation in prices of alcoholic beverages & tobacco (0.3% vs. 5.4%) and clothing (9.7% vs. 9.9%). At the same time, cost accelerated for transport (3.4% vs. 3.2%), health (8.8% vs. 8.4%), restaurants & hotels (8.8% vs. 8.7%), and recreation & culture (7.0% vs. 5.8%). Additionally, food & non-alcoholic beverage prices increased more rapidly after logging the slowest rise in 27 months for August (9.2% vs. 8.5%). Monthly, consumer prices rose by 0.8%, the steepest pace in five months, following August’s six-month low of 0.3%.
