Sri Lanka Taux d'inflation

Consumer prices in Sri Lanka's capital, Colombo, decreased by 4.2% year-on-year in February 2025, following a 4% drop in the previous month. This marked the sixth consecutive month of deflation and the sharpest fall in the sequence. Costs for non-food products declined further (-6.1% vs -4.7% in January), while food prices also continued to drop, albeit at a slower pace (-0.2% vs -2.6%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.2% in February, after a 0.5% rise in January.
