The Netherlands’ seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood at 3.7% in September 2024, unchanged from the previous month. The number of unemployed individuals rose 3 thousand to 377 thousand, while employment increased 9 thousand to 9.777 million. The labor force participation rate came at 75.8%, the same as in the preceding period. Meanwhile, there were 172.3 thousand current recipients of unemployment benefits during the period, up by 1% compared to August. In September 2024, the seasonally adjusted jobless rate was also at 3.7%.
