The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment for the Euro Area fell by 7.6 points to 12.5 in November 2024, below market expectations of 20.5. In November, about 62.5% of the surveyed analysts expected no changes in economic activity, 25% predicted an improvement and 12.5% anticipated a deterioration. In the meantime, the indicator of the current economic situation fell by 3 points to -43.8 and inflation expectations went up by 7.5 points to -13.4.
