The Czech unemployment rate edged higher to 4.4% in February 2025, compared to market expectations and previous month's 4.3%. This marked the highest reading since March 2017, as the number of unemployed persons rose by 5,707 month-on-month to 326,233. Meanwhile, the number of job vacancies increased by 4,739 from a month earlier to 88,062 in February 2025.
