Chili Taux d'inflation

The annual inflation rate in Chile rose to 4.5% in December 2024, accelerating from 4.2% in the prior month. On a monthly basis, consumer prices decreased by 0.2% in December, while estimates suggested they would remain unchanged. Prices fell mostly for food & non-alcoholic beverages (-0.9%); alcoholic beverages & tobacco (-1.3%); clothing & footwear (-1.3%); and furnishings & household equipment (-0.9%). Core consumer prices edged down by 0.1%, after a 0.5% increase in the previous month.
