Brunéi Darussalam Taux d'inflation

Consumer prices in Brunei fell by 0.5% year-on-year in March 2025, marking the steepest decline since December and following a marginal 0.01% increase in the previous month. The decrease was broad-based, with prices falling across most categories: food & non-alcoholic beverages (-0.6% vs -0.7% in February), clothing & footwear (-1.0% vs 9.4%), housing & utilities (-0.2% vs -0.2%), furnishings & household maintenance (-0.9% vs -0.3%), transport (-1.2% vs -1.3%), communication (-0.5% vs -0.5%), recreation & culture (-1.2% vs 0.6%), and miscellaneous goods and services (-0.2% vs 0.2%). At the same time, inflation eased for restaurants & hotels (0.2% vs 0.5%) and was unchanged for education (0.3%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices declined by 0.5%, reversing a 0.3% gain in February.
