The Industrial Entrepreneur Confidence Index (ICEI) in Brazil remained unchanged at 49.1 in February 2025, marking the second consecutive month of lack of confidence among industrial entrepreneurs and maintaining the lowest optimism level since April 2023. This stability follows a decline from September's peak of 53.3, the highest since October 2022. Expectations for individual company performance held steady at 51.5, reflecting continued optimism for business conditions over the next six months. Broader economic expectations edged up slightly to 42.8 from January’s 42.5, but still indicate a pessimistic outlook for Brazil’s overall economy. Current business conditions rose marginally to 44.4 from 44.2, while the assessment of the current state of the Brazilian economy improved to 37.0 from 36.6.
